Practice this week is Tuesday and Friday, Sept 8 & 11, at 18:00.

We plan to be on the grass field between the Rugby field and the synthetic turf field (see photo). Look for the flying disks.

Summer is almost over! The UC students are coming back into town, and the ERASMUS students are arriving for the first time.

If you want to play Ultimate Frisbee - whether you are an experienced player or have never thrown a disk before, you are welcome to join us!

Welcome to Coimbra, and welcome to enjoying disk sports.

Practice this week (first week of September) is at the University of Coimbra Stadium location, on the small grass field between the rugby field and the synthetic field. (see photo)

Tuesday and Friday, 18:00 - when we get tired. ;-)

Heads up, if you are planning on joining us this month (July 2026), practices start at 18:00 on the synthetic pitch, at the University of Coimbra sports center. Tuesdays and Fridays. See you there!

Please join us by volunteering at EBUCC - European Beach Ultimate Club Championships! It should be a very fun event!

Volunteers will be provided with:
- Meals, drinks and snacks for all days while working the event.
- Accommodation during the stay.
- Free access to all tournament parties/social events/venues and games (Age appropriate).
- Volunteer Shirt.
- The opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and create amazing memories.

In return, volunteers need to provide:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work 5-6 hours a day.
- A desire to learn how to help us run the fields, manage the games and support the players and teams.
- A strong desire to enjoy yourself and have some fun!

We've been having a lot of fun on the artificial turf field! It's been fun, but the 17:00 start time is tough for those with a "real" job.

Even when we start on the artificial turf, we finish up on the grass field.

We have an updated practice schedule, courtesy of the University of Coimbra UC+Ativa Program.

Tuesdays and Fridays
Indoors: 17-18:00 in Pavilion 1 - University of Coimbra Stadium
Outdoors: 18:15-19:30 on our regular outdoor field between the rugby and synthetic fields.

The new schedule starts next week. See you Tuesday, dry and indoors!

We are now an official activity with the University of Coimbra Sports Facilities! 🥳

To join, please follow these steps:
1. Go to reservasestadio.uc.pt
2.⁠ ⁠Register / log in
3.⁠ ⁠Go to the side menu ATIVIDADES
4.⁠ ⁠Look for the “Frisbee” listing, fill it in and submit
5.⁠ ⁠Wait for the confirmation email (this will only be sent after final approval)

These activities will be held on Mondays and Thursdays, from 17:00 to 18:00, inside Pavilion 1. The regular outdoor practices are then held on our regular outdoor field, starting at 18:15.

We had a great time at the LFO Leiria Flying Objects - Ultimate Frisbee Team indoor tournament on January 18th!

No wins this time around, but lots of great plays!

We took our final game to "Universe Point", but sadly couldn't break for the win.
