Every repetition is a step forward.

The goal isn’t perfection on the first attempts β€” it’s building the movement until it becomes natural, efficient, and consistent.

Every repetition builds better technique, stronger habits, and more confidence in the water. Small improvements in training lead to big progress in the lineup.

INTERMEDIATE COACHING TRAININGS



After the first training session, an improvement plan was made (cutbacks and off-the-top).
Dora struggled at the start, as expected when learning and training something new.
But her consistency paid off β€” not every session was easy, but each brought small improvements.
By the end of the trainings, she was starting to reach some of her small goals and showing gradual progress in both turns.

These days, Instagram is full of "surf progression" videos where someone supposedly goes from never touching a surfboard to doing technical turns in just 1–4 weeks. These videos are often misleading and create unrealistic expectations. Progress takes time, consistency, and plenty of wipeouts.

Me and my brother followed different paths in sport, but somehow ended up in the same place.
My younger brother started his journey in combat sports while he was serving the Army. That’s where he built his discipline and mindset. After 8 years in the army, he continued as a fighter, competing and growing in the sport. When his fighting career ended, he didn’t leave the sport behind he became a coach, helping others develop and become better athletes and stronger individuals.

I followed a different path. I built my career in surfing, competing professionally, and dedicating years of my life to the ocean. After my competitive career, I also decided to become a coach, sharing everything I learned with the next generation of surfers.
Today, we are both coaches in completely different sports, but with the same goal: to pass on our experience and help others grow.
