helping students focus on one movement at a time. This targeted repetition speeds up learning, improves technique, and builds the confidence needed to perform in the water.

Surf students focus longer and give more effort when practice feels exciting and fun.

Adding small-sided games and creative challenges turns training into an environment where surf students are fully engaged, motivated, and constantly learning without feeling like they’re stuck repeating the same drills.
The best sessions don’t just build skills.

They build confidence and a love for the sport.

𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒!

Every student has their own story, and Kevin’s began far from the ocean.
Coming from Germany, he spends most of the year working, but whenever he gets time off, he chases waves and focuses on improving his surfing.
Instead of a typical holiday, he chose growth, challenge, and time in the water.
In every training session, Kevin built confidence, improved his technique, and connected a bit better with the ocean.
For Kevin, surfing is not only a sport. it's freedom.
Keep going.🔥💪🏄

Intermediate surfers often improve faster when they use specific drills.

She entered the championship, and she took the win.
But victory isn’t created on the day of the competition.
It’s created in the unseen days of sacrifice, work, and discipline.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄
You don't need to feel confident every day. Some days you will feel more others less. Confidence is built step by step. Small achievable goals, positive self-talk, and consistent practice will help.

𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 (𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐓𝐒)
Am I good enough?
Why am I not improving?
Should I even keep going?
Every surfer hears that voice.
Doubt isn’t a sign to stop.
It’s part of the process.
It comes when you care.
When you’re trying to get better.
Don’t fight it outwork it.
Focus on small wins

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄
This is your anchor.
It’s what builds confidence.
It’s what creates progress.
It’s what separates those who want it… from those who earn it.
It’s doing the work when no one is watching.

𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
They can push you forward… or hold you back.
Expect too much, too fast, and frustration takes over.
Expect nothing, and you lose direction.
The key is balance.
Set goals, but stay patient.
Focus on the process, not just results.
Not every session will be perfect.
And that’s okay.

𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑
Every surfer feels it.
Before the paddle out.
Before the bigger sets.
Before trying something new.
Fear doesn’t mean stop.
It means you care. It means you’re pushing your limits.
The goal isn’t to eliminate it’s to understand it.

𝐅𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
It’s part of every surfer’s journey.
Failing turns.
Losing or unfair results.
Sessions where nothing clicks, etc..
But frustration isn’t failure it’s feedback.
It shows you care.
It shows you’re trying.
The key is what you do next.
Reset. Breathe. Go again.
Focus on small goals.
Because every mistake is a step forward… if you learn from it.

𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓
It doesn’t happen in one session.
Most of the time, it’s invisible hidden in repetition, in effort, in sessions that feel “normal”.
But it’s happening.
Improvement is on paddling out on a sh*tty day.
It’s fixing one small mistake instead of chasing everything at once.
It’s learning to read and surf every different wave.
You don’t always notice it while it’s happening.
But one day, you will look back… and realise you’ve changed so much. 🔥💪🏄‍♀️🤙

What Makes a Good Surf Teacher/coach?

There are so many types of surf teachers out there, it is important that students know what they are getting. I’ve realized that when it comes to surf teaching/coaching a lot of people are getting ripped off. Sometimes it is almost depressing. Because for the surf student it's hard to tell the difference between a good teacher and a bad one when they all appear to be better than the student!
So, what makes a good teacher?
What is a surf Teacher?
This is such a vague term… like such a vague term. Some teachers use certificates to justify their credentials… like international surf Associations or National Training Certifications etc... Unfortunately, this doesn’t make them good teachers.
What makes a good surf teacher?
A good surf teacher can see beyond what is directly in front of them and can create methods and pull out the best from their students. This quality is actually very hard to find.
A good surf teacher usually is someone who can inspire an entire class, while concentrating on the individual needs of each student, a good surf teacher is someone who has dedicated quite a bit of time and energy on their craft of teaching. Usually, these teachers are specifically focused on technique.
Eyes: A good surf teacher has a keen eye for body movements, coordination, technique and can find minuscule errors when a surfer is performing.
Good Ears: A good surf teacher listen and understand his students.
Educated: A good surf teacher understands the sports, physiology, and technique.
Experience: A good surf teacher has experience within the professional world of surfing. It is important to have these experiences so you can help guide students into the professional world.
Connected: A good surf teacher is still plugged into the professional surf world, so they understand what is happening and what the industry is needing, wanting and demanding.
A good surf teacher can demonstrate what he teaches. If he can not, he has to find someone who can. Sometimes demonstrating a skill works much better than talking about it.
So, This is my sincere opinion about what makes a good surf teacher.😉
