Rose Hill
Rose’s passion lies in helping people to connect with and balance their bodies and minds. Her classes integrate postures, breathing, and meditation. She began her yoga journey at the age of 18 when she started working at Ashram Yoga in New Zealand. Since then, she has completed three teacher training courses, a 200-hour Registered Yoga Alliance accredited course in New Zealand, and two courses staying in ashrams in India. She aims to give a holistic approach to her students. Felix Schaefer
Felix graduated from the Sports High School “Ludwig-Frank Gymnasium” in Mannheim, Germany in 2003. Shortly after, he moved to Auckland, New Zealand to life and work with people with special needs for a year as part of a social volunteer year. Having fallen in love with surfing, the Kiwi lifestyle and plenty of other things, he decided to stay another 8 years. In these years he completed a “Diploma in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Managment” and a “Bachelor in Performing Arts”. After an ankle injury, Felix was forced to do physiotherapy. Part of his Physiotherapy Plan was Pilates. In his first Pilates class he tried to figure out why all women in the class have stronger gluteus muscles then him (He still tries to find out today). Two years after his first Pilates class he received a certificate in Pilates from Peak Pilates. He also trains in numerous sports such as Kickboxing, Basketball, Crossfitness, Surfing, Soccer, Yoga, Athletics, Rugby and others. In his time in New Zealand he also fell in love with dance. Felix currently works as a freelancer in Berlin, Germany. He works as the European Manager for the Vospertron Performance Group. Furthermore he works as an actor and dancer. He also teaches Pilates, Crossfitness, Movement and Dance classes. Felixs' Pilates classes start with a gentle warm up of the spine. The emphasis in the class lies on breathing and developing a strong core. The secret for Felix lies in total control of all movement. He follows the theory that any movement could be stopped and paused at any time with the core muscles controlling the position. All exercises cater for different body parts with the lower abdominal muscles being the centre of all strength, energy and stability. The final 10 minutes of the hour are spend to stretch and relax the body. All people should leave this class with a refreshed feeling for allignment and opennes in the body. The practice suits beginners and advanced alike as all exercises can be altered to serve the individuals needs.
