Something bigger than soccer …
Not every scar is visible.
Today, April 16, on World Semicolon Day, we honor the pauses in our stories—the moments we could have ended things, but chose to keep going.
A semicolon isn’t the end; it’s a continuation.
And so are you.
Your story isn’t over.
World Semicolon Day is dedicated to raising awareness for su***de prevention, mental health, and supporting those struggling with self-injury or addiction. The semicolon symbolizes a person’s choice to continue their life rather than end it—just as an author uses a semicolon instead of a period.
This year, I’m collaborating with Lovemore on a su***de prevention and mental health awareness shirt. Proceeds from this design, available April 16–23, will be donated to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. To support AFSP and their programs, you can purchase a shirt using the link below.
If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. National Su***de & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988.
