The Jamaica Karate Federation expresses its sincere appreciation to the Puerto Rico Karate Federation and its President, Dr. Silva and the coaching team for the valuable support provided in the preparation of our athlete ahead of a key qualification event for our region:

Training at the Albergue Olímpico de Puerto Rico — a venue that has played an important role in the development of karate across Central America and the Caribbean — represents a meaningful opportunity for athlete preparation and for strengthening regional collaboration.🤝🏿

This exchange reflects the spirit of unity within the Caribbean and the wider Pan American community, where talent, vision, work ethic, and a deep respect for karate continue to drive the growth of our discipline.

Together, we continue advancing toward the qualification tournament for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo 🥋🇩🇴

Today, in the world renowned Jamaican news source "The Gleaner", Valentyna Zolotarova and the President of the Jamaica Karate Federation, Seishihan Tony Robinson, shared what this Bolivarian Games medal means for Jamaican Karate and the strengthening of Caribbean karate in the Pan-American region and the World Karate Federation.

We take this opportunity to remind the international community of the rebuilding efforts that are necessary in our country and our neighbouring Caribbean islands following hurricane Melissa.
