Congratulations from the whole team, Andrej. Extremely impressive result despite the challenging conditions.

Hard fought 4th place today at IRONMAN Wales in worst weather conditions I ever raced. I'm not happy with my swim and bike. I got in T2 in 11th place and went for it on the run. First half in 1:20h over a hilly course (over 500m of elevation gain: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1970197007). Wheels started to fall off after 25k but I managed to get into fourth place.
Special mention to my athlete and very good friend Marin Koceić who won 40-44 age group and qualified for Hawaii.

Teško izboreno 4. mjesto na Ironmanu u Walesu danas. Vremenski uvjeti su bili najgori u kojima sam se utrkivao. Kiša i jak vjetar u kombinaciji sa na dijelovima uskom stazom s lošim asfaltom. S plivanjem i biciklom nisam zadovoljan. Na trčanje sam došao na 11. mjestu s ogromnim zaostatkom. Trčao sam na sve ili ništa i prošao prvu polovicu brdovite staze (500m visinske razlike) za 1:20h. Nakon 25km sam počeo padati ali sam se uspio progurati do 4. mjesta. Garmin: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1970197007

Had a decent race , did not expect to be able to ride this strong after a week with diarrhea . Ended on a 13th place .
