What an exciting moment for children to be able to experience the great game of flag football. We are excited that the youth have another option in the area of sport. We are looking forward to witnessing the progress of the game and development of the youth. Big ups to all the clubs that have already put in the work so far. Your dedication will soon play off.

Registration opens today for the first season of NFL Flag Poland which will take place in Wrocław. The season will be held from November 4th to December 9th. Spaces are limited so click the link below for more information and reserve your spot!

NFL Flag Poland strive to provide a positive football experience for boys and girls aged 6-13.  Our focus is on teaching fundamentals, building relationships, keeping kids safe, and encouraging good sportsmanship.   There are no height or weight restrictions, making it a game everybody can play.

Sports play an important role in everyday English. Check out these sports related idioms to help you become more fluent. Keep in mind that the verb will change depending on what time you are talking about.

1: Drop The Ball
To make a mistake, especially when you didn’t complete one of your responsibilities. This idiom comes from the fact that in baseball/American football, dropping the ball is an error in the game.

Example: I was counting on John to finish his part of the project, but he completely dropped the ball.

2: Full court press
To apply aggressive tactics using all the resources at your disposal to exert maximum pressure in order to achieve some desired outcome. In basketball to apply aggressive defensive the entire court.

Example: If we’re going to close this deal, it will take a full-court press.

3: To rein someone/something in (Horse racing)
To limit what someone or something is able to do.

Example: If he doesn't rein in his emotions, it will cost his team a penalty.

4: Throw in the towel (Boxing)
To give up or quit.

Example: She was ready to throw in the towel but remembered he goals and keep going.

🚨Uwaga! Last call! 🚨

Na nasz camp we Wrocławiu pozostało już tylko 10 miejsc. 🏈😁

Jeżeli jeszcze wahacie się ze zgłoszeniem to decyzję musicie podjąć błyskawicznie bowiem decyduje kolejność zgłoszeń. Proces rejestracji zamykamy w przyszłym tygodniu albo po osiągnięciu limitu uczestników 🏁

Jeżeli nie jesteście pewni czy Waszemu dziecku spodoba się futbol flagowy to zapraszamy na trybuny. Podczas campu będą one otwarte zarówno dla rodziców jak i dla dzieci. Można przyjść i przekonać się osobiście jak znakomitą zabawę stanowi futbol. 👧🧒

Na camp rekomendujemy wyposażyć dzieciaki w buty - tak zwane "turfy" albo w korki z plastikowymi kołkami na podeszwie. Wszystko po to, żeby nie ślizgać się na nawierzchni Stadionu Olimpijskiego. O wszystko inne zadbamy już my. 🏟
