Over the past few years, social media has become one of the main contributors to anxiety and depression among young adults. Daily exposure to social media posts promoting flawless models living perfect lives, sets unrealistic standards and creates feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem. When the line between what’s real and staged dissolves, our minds become particularly vulnerable to these negative feelings. It’s the matter of what do we see in the social media - do we see a perfect life that is unachievable for us? Or simply a work of fiction made to please our eyes? So what do You see?
