Full Throttle in Medemblik and Muiden!

​We had some fantastic training days this weekend! Focused on speed and progress by constantly learning from each other! ​Saturday: Intensive speed training in Medemblik with two boats. ​Sunday fleet racing in Muiden.
​We are determined to set the bar even higher next year!

Polish Match Cup 🇵🇱⛵️

​Looking back at the Polish Match Cup in Szczecin! While we feel dissatisfied because the final result wasn't what we were gunning for. We are happy to have improved on the points that needed attention from previous regattas. We gained some crucial learnings and now know exactly what to build on this winter!

​Huge thanks to the organizers, the event was well organized! And a Special thanks to Buitenhuis Advies for supporting us! We're already looking forward to next year's competition.

Our first Dublin Match Cup 🇮🇪 (part of the World Match Racing Tour) is in the books!

The round Robin was tough, but we fought our way back in the repechage round. In the quarter-finals we faced Aurélien Pierroz’s team and lost 2–1 after a nail-biting series. We managed to draw the score, separated by just a few centimeters at the finish line! But in the end it was not enough and we were knocked out in the quarter finals.

With no wind on the final day, the King of the Castle for places 5–8 couldn’t be sailed, so our result remained 8th place.

An amazing venue, strong opponents, and plenty of lessons learned. We’ll be back next year, ready for a revanche! ⚡️⛵️

Second place for the Associazione Vela Lago di Ledro International Match Race! 🇮🇹🥈

After two days of fierce competition we ended the Round Robin on 8 wins - 3 losses, which had us advancing in third position to the semi-finals. Here we battled with the Estonian team for a spot in the finals. Very close races, but we managed to get the upper hand and win by 3-0.

Sunday was finals day and we crossed swords with our friend Rocco Attili and team for the event win. The pre-starts proved to be vital for the outcome of each race, but the Italians got the better over us on their home waters to bring home the title by winning 3-1.

A second place in a World Match Racing Tour event is our best result to date and we’re more motivated than ever to cling on to the steep part of our learning curve. Already looking forward to the next event in Pornichet, France 🇫🇷 next month!

NJK Open Spring Cup - Petit Final

Every journey has its end. The third and final day of the NJK Open Spring Cup in Helsinki marks the close of our Scandinavian adventure on the World Match Racing Tour. We look back satisfied by our progress, even though we had hoped to qualify for the Swedish Match Cup and medal in Helsinki.

The final day began with waiting for other matches to finish, but we eventually got back on the water for our last three matches. We fought hard and earned our spot in the petit final against the strong Polish team. After a tight start, they found the right shift and managed to slip ahead at the top mark. Congrats to Patryk Zbroja Yacht Racing Team on 3rd place, to Hamilton for taking silver, and to Med Racing on the win!

A massive thank you to NJK Nyländska Jaktklubben for putting on such a well-run and enjoyable event. The hospitality, racing, and competition were top class.

We're heading home with new lessons, stronger teamwork, and even more motivation as we look ahead to the next event in Ledro, Italy.

Day 2 at the NJK Open Spring Cup

The second day brought some of the trickiest conditions so far. Super light and shifty winds that made every move count.

We sailed 4 slow-paced but high-intensity races and came away with 2 wins.

Keeping the boat moving was everything today – and in the races we won, we managed to roll our opponents downwind with some great team work and clean ex*****on.
Still all to play for!

NJK Open Spring Cup 2025 - Day 1 Update

First day of racing at the NJK Open Spring Cup 2025 – is in the books! After a long day of waiting, we finally got out on the water in a dying breeze and managed to make it count.
4 races, 4 wins. Tight battles all around – great way to kick things off!

Sometimes, you have to take it on the chin…

Our goal for the GKSS Spring Cup was to qualify for the Match Cup Sweden 🇸🇪 , which meant we had to be the top ranked team yet to qualify.

Although we sailed really well at times, mistakes proved to be costly and a 5th place finish was not enough to get us through the qualifying round.

Good thing is that we’re still laughing and in a few days already have a chance to bring our learnings into practice as we’ll be competing in the World Match Racing Tour NJK Open Spring Cup in Helsinki 🇫🇮. With two crew changes we have fresh eyes onboard as we’re looking to improve and bring our game to the next level so we can try again next year! 🔝

WMRT Göteborg – Day 1 recap!

We came out strong in our first few matches, winning 2 out of 3 races. As the day progressed, the conditions stayed difficult and variable — strong breeze and big shifts kept us on our toes. A tight situation led to a contact and a half-point deduction, which unfortunately put the next stage just out of reach.

We are ready to improve on our score on day 2 and finish the round robin!
