I had never heard of Tomasz Putra who has coached both Poland and the Czech Republic. Maybe that's a problem. Rugby grows from the grass roots. That's the function of Piotrowice Nyskie and other great festivals around Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and other PNIRF countries. We've had plenty of international players at PNIRF. the World Cup starts today, All Blacks v France. Possibly the greatest ever match was in RWC 1999. The New Zealanders were leading 24-10 after half time, Jonah Lomu had scored two unstoppable battering ram tries.

You don't come back from that, so, the people I was with went out to walk the labrador. But I stayed and watched.

W miniony weekend wzięliśmy po raz dziesiąty udział w The Piotrowice Nyskie International Rugby Festival ‼️

Zwyciężyliśmy w turnieju rugby 7, pokonują po drodze zespoły AZS AWF Warszawa, Frogs Warszawa, Olymp Praha i Vienna Celtic 🔥

Na koniec zawodnicy którzy mieli jeszcze siłę grać rozegrali mecz w rugby piętnastoosobowym i tutaj również wygrała drużyna Polish Barbarians, złożona w dużej części z naszych Gryfów 🔝

Było to świetne przetarcie przed rozpoczynający się już za dwa tygodnie nowym sezonem
