WE ARE REPAIRING THE RUBOX BULLET TRAP
Once again I had the opportunity to show the RUBOX Modular Ballistic System, from which I have built bullet traps at the Fire School shooting range.
Thanks to RUBOX, I have eliminated a number of safety problems from ricochets to the total reduction of heavy metal emissions, including lead.
The RUBOX system is a completely different technology than the solutions currently used in shooting ranges.
The RUBOX ballistic block has anti-ricochet and anti-missile properties, even with kinetic energy of 17,000 J.
The RUBOX anti-ricochet ballistic block consists of two environments. In RUBOX, you can shoot at a point endlessly. The limitation is the ability to absorb projectiles, and in total the remnants of decelerated projectiles.
The RUBOX anti-ricochet ballistic block is made of an anti-ricochet block filled with ballistic pellets. Like ballistic hollow brick, a lot of bullets are poured out, pellets are poured out, pellets are cleaned of bullet debris, poured in clean and RUBOX continues to run.
In RUBOX, ballistic pellets made of natural aggregate are mainly responsible for catching the projectile. Ballistic hollow brick creates an anti-ricochet layer and supports the capture of the projectile.
The thickness of RUBOX is 30 cm. This 30 cm wall completely stops anything up to .338, even 50 BMG 750 gr A-MAX® Match ™ bullets fired from a distance of 80 cm (barrel outlet from ACTIVE RUB wall). You can easily shoot the RUBOX ballistic block using BRENEKA 28 g 12/70. Of course, BRENEKA cuts a hole larger than 12.7 mm, but until the granules start to spill out of the block, you can break.
RUBOX is easy to use. Logistics is very simple.
The photos show a cutout of a RUBOX bullet trap. I show how you can quickly repair a bullet trap with Active Rub studs during training. After 100 rounds fired with rapid semi-automatic fire (magazine after magazine) with a weapon aimed at the point, a small hole was created in the wall of the ballistic honeycomb, from which no granules spilled out, which allowed the training to continue. The reaction to the problem is driving a cork from Active Rub material and that's it. You can still shoot from 1 meter at the point, and even from the touchdown, without worrying about safety, starting with a ricochet and ending with fumes from braked projectiles.
