🎖MAN OF THE MATCH🎖

Mateo Lopez 🇨🇴 takes home the Man of the Match award following an outstanding performance in midfield on Sunday!

Despite a frustrating result for the team, the Colombian was a clear standout at the base of the midfield. Mateo provided an excellent shield in front of the backline and dictated the tempo, springing the Dragoons forward with a superb range of both short and long passing.

A mature, composed display from back to front! 🐉

Football is a cruel game and the Dragoons sadly were masters of their own downfall after a much improved performance.

Nadwiślan pounced on two errors to score against the run of play at the end of the first half and at the very start of the second.

Jake Hedrick 🇺🇸 conceded and then saved a penalty as the Expats huffed and puffed to get back into the game.

Enrico Forabosco 🇮🇹 got the Dragoons back into the game with a masterful free-kick but it was too little too late.

Mirko Barile 🇮🇹 takes home the Man of the Match award after returning from the summer fit, firing, and full of energy!

While it was a disappointing afternoon overall for the team, the Italian midfielder stood out as a clear bright spark. Playing in an advanced attacking role, Mirko started with real purpose and came agonisingly close to his first Dragoons goal, with two efforts in the early stages.

Mirko showed the heart, fight and desire needed when the chips are down before being withdrawn in the 60th minute. 🐉

Adrian Paliś 🇵🇱 came off the bench to grab a late consolation goal on Sunday, showing good movement to lose his marker and showing his poacher's instinct to head home Enrico Forabosco’s 🇮🇹 corner.
