He trained with Global legends like Bob Breen and Dan Innosanto (Bruce Lee’s best friend and sparring partner); so I was bred into a dynasty of hard-hitting Karate men, back in the days when earning your Black belt wasn’t just an incentive scheme, because you paid enough, or you put in enough hours. My father wouldn’t even allow me to grade to Black belt for a long time after I had the ability, de
spite allowing my lesser peers superseding my rank along the way. Belts are for holding up your pants, he used to tell me, you’ll get it when you can stop a man, something I finally achieved in the midst of a bar fight at 15/16 years old. From the age of 4 years old I was taught how to throw kicks and punches and well as to understand the fundamentals of the body mechanics that go behind driving the end result. My Uncle Rob Lock has the biggest martial arts academy in Europe and is ranked as one of Britain’s hardest men and has been for years. My father and my Uncle Rob were the guys I always saw at the forefront of the Martial Arts movement in the UK before it became saturated with second rate instructors looking to make money. Uncle Rob and his friend Andy Norman (one of the best fighters I’ve ever seen) were involved in the development of Defence Lab, the style you see throughout the Christian Bale Batman Trilogy, or thrown around by Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher & Mission Impossible. Andy (Original Founder of Defence Lab) was even a fight consultant for Keanu in John Wick. So the men I’ve studied all my life were dedicated to everything they did, and while not on their level, I have honed certain skills and I have a great core, with a keen eye for mistakes and those elements that will improve or hinder your progress as a fighter, whether you’re looking to compete or just to defend yourself properly. Winning countless bouts throughout my young life and never losing when it came to Kata, I achieved a 1st Dan in Sankukai Karate and later moved on to achieve a 2nd Dan in Shotokan Karate before I left home to hit the real world at 18 years old. I’ve since cross trained in Taekwondo, Kick Boxing, Chinese Boxing, Muai Thai, Kung Fu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Defence Lab and Krav Maga and I have a number of weapons skills under my belt and am qualified to teach many different weapons for stage and cinema. My life changed in 2018 when I had a son, Logan, who is now 5 years old and I moved to Poland with his mum, who was born here. After our separation I decided to stay and be a present father and now I am focussed of defining a new life here. So, while I own a number of UK businesses, in my spare time I want to use my martial arts skills, developed over 20+ years to help anyone I can feel more confident mentally and physically within themselves. I don’t care how old you are, I don’t care what gender you are, if you want to learn how to look after yourself, then I am here with open energy and guidance. Classes are a minimum of 1 hour and I will come to you. I live in Klodzko so classes in Klodzko are 100zloty per hour and if you are outside my town then I am happy to come to you for a little extra, or you can come to me to keep your cost down. I will tailor the training specifically to what you want to achieve and if I were in the UK the cost of training would be at least 3-4 times higher than what I charge in zloty. So, you get a lot of experience, for a small amount of money respectively. Contact me for further details. I prefer WhatsApp - +48 660 526 018
