Verkerk Pigeons and why you should trust P**a 😊

This was a dream ... the desire to have pigeons in breeding loft from Verkerk Bas & Gerard.

First time i heard about these fanciers was in 2010. They immediately impressed me for two reasons: having so many Olympic pigeons and the fact that none of them was sold.

This year I have got in touch with Bas and it has been continuing so far. In the meantime, I made contact, and then collaborated with my friend Wieslaw Mlot. In my opinion one of the best fanciers in Poland in terms of results. The quality of his pigeons and breeding skills are evidenced by the fact that for 10 years he was the only one in the top of ten of the General Polish Championships flight 300-700km.

Once, when I was collecting pigeons from him, I told about Verkerk family, about they results. I also mentioned that there is currently an auction of their pigeons on the P**a portal, which was sceptical as several purchases were missed. Nevertheless, I tried to persuade him it was worth trusting by mentioning a few of his purchases.

Finally, he agreed to buy a pigeon together from Verkerk, pointing out that he was only interested in the best. The choice could only be one, son of Olympic Fire Eyes, who is himself the son of the Eye Catcher of Olympic Solange's sister.

These two hen don’t need introduction to anyone who knows pigeons of the Verkerk family. We set a budget, but when emotions won out at the auction, we need add 😊 Fortunately we were able to buy Olympic Fire Eyes' son.

At this point I have to mention the pressure I had, because I knew that Wieslaw would trust these pigeons, they must be better than his 😊 Fortunately, in the young race they managed to get 1 place on the loft and they did not stand out from his pigeon.

As you know, the flights of the young are the beginning of the selection. I have repeated many times that the Verkerk pigeons can win as an annual, and their favorite distance is 300-700 km with an indication of 500 km, although they managed to win even in 800 km flights. I was looking forward to the 500 km flights.

The yearlings female PL-0418-21-9358 daughter of "Expected" in racing 500 + km 4x500 x 2x700 flights was the 1 Yearling ACE and 35 from Yearling and old birds, in region almost 300 fanciers and 10 000 pigeons.

Once again i understood how important it is to try to be the best at what we do, hours , days spent on analysis and searching turned out to make sense 😊

Because, I love to analyze the pedigrees, and I think I know a lot about Verkerk breeding, in the meantime we also bought a daughter of Bonita on P**a, who gave the super breeding pigeon "Tanguy" at the Eijerkamps loft.

What I understand is that if you want to win against the best, you have to bring the best into your loft and then select it.

At this point, I would like to thank Wiesław Młot for the trust he has placed in me, the Verkerk family for great material for breeding work, espessiely Bas for all answers and the all P**a team, which cares about customer satisfaction.

Szkoda, że matka już nie płodzi ... ale na szczęście wzmocnienie w gołębniku jest :-)

Rens v.d. Zijde ... czołowy hodowca z Holandii, który hodowle sprzedał w większości do Chin ...

Z ciekawostek ta linia gołębi, ugruntowała swoją pozycję ... nie tylko na wielu gołębnikach, ale również na WG ... gołąb org. Wiesław Młot :-)

Na naszym wspólnym gołębniku pare lat temu w 2020roku wydarzyło się coś niesamowitego co do dzisiaj wielu wspomina i podziwia. W pamięci cały czas mamy emocję jakie towarzyszyły kolejnym lotom w których brała udział „Polish Birdy”. Dla nas była to przyjemność móc lotować takim gołębiem i super doświadczenie. Jak wiemy gołąb wybitny rodzi się bardzo rzadko, mieć go w swoim gołębniku to duże wyróżnienie dla nas jako organizatorów Wg Roztocze jak i właściciela tego gołębia . Od początków wspólnych gołębników w Polsce nie było takiego gołębia. Aksamitność jej upierzenia, którą charakteryzowała się przez cały czas uczestniczenia w lotach świadczy o niesamowitym zdrowiu. Nasza „Gwiazda” została zakupiona do hodowli Polish Racing Pigeons-PoRaPi, która specjalizuje się w rywalizacji na wspólnych gołębnikach. Jej dzieci charakteryzują się niesamowitym charakterem. Ponieważ z tego co nam wiadomo, jest łączona tylko z najlepszymi gołębiami, uważamy, że podobnie jak gołąb Birdy lotowany na SCMDPR. To kwestia czasu, kiedy "Polish Birdy" zagości w rodowodach zwyciezców Wspólnych Gołębników
