10 czerwca, 197 lat temu, odbył się pierwszy wyścig wioślarski Oxford - Cambridge na Tamizie
197 years ago today, on 10 June 1829, students from Oxford University raced students from Cambridge University in a Boat Race at Henley-On-Thames.
"It has never fallen to my lot to hear such a shout since. There was fierce applause at the installation of the Duke of Wellington, ...but applause that fills a valley is a different thing" reported one journalist.
197 years later, the Battle of the Blues continues.
