The handsome guy in the picture is the strongest leg of the Hungarian Black Powder National Team, József Nyitrai, winner of many international MLAIC medals. We simply call him "Vakembör" or Blindman in English. Józsi is in his 77th year, but this year he secured his National Champion title in Vetterli 50 m rifle event with the mighty score of 100. He has been shooting his trusty Pedersoli Tryon Creedmoor rifle for decades. He does not change to better looking iron if he performs not as he planned. He never blames the circumstances, never blames the charge, never blames the gun. If things do not go as planned, he looks for the issues in himself, and corrects it with diligent work. But when he wins - like this weekend - he praises the gun's capabilities. He is close to 80 but still he is the best in Hungary. I wish we will shoot many years together! Well done my friend! We are all very proud of you!
A képen látható jóképű lövész Nyitrai Jóska, sok nemzetközi érem birtokosa, vagy ahogy hívni szoktuk a Vakembör. Jóska a 77.-ben van idén, ennek ellenére simán Vetterli Országos bajnok lett öreg Pedersoli Tryon Creedmoor puskájával 100 körrel. Nem cseréli le akkor sem, ha nem úgy mennek a dolgok, ahogy kellene. Nem hibáztatja a körülményeket, fegyvert, töltetet. Ha nem megy, magában keresi a hibát és kijavítja azt kemény, fegyelmezett munkával. De amikor nyer, a puskát dicséri, nem magát. Lassan Jóska 80, de még mindig ő a legjobb. És remélem ez még sokáig így is marad. Vakembör, büszkék vagyunk rád! Még sok ilyet!
