The 3rd DIFA congress 13 December 2022 is very wonderful and successful, the “GENO SHAHAM HOTEL” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the work of the 3rd DIFA Congress, coordinated by the expert in the person of Mr. Jean Pierre Valery PEMHA, was held, according to the approved DIFA under the action of Mr. TURKI ALI ALSHEKHRI, 20 countries, including 16 in attendance and 4 live on ZOOM.
As a result of this work, several decisions were made, namely: Congratulations to our President lakov Frenkel DIFA - Deaf International Football Association
Once again I thank all participants in Congress who for voted me as DIFA executive board member. We will provide our service to all Deaf footballers in the world. DEVELOPMENT IN DEAF FOOTBALL.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia December 13, 2022 Yakov Frenkel retained his position as President of the Deaf International Football Association (DIFA).
DIFA has also made important changes to the format of the World Deaf Football Championships. Starting in 2023, it will feature not 16, but 24 teams. Until recently, the issue of increasing the number of teams for the 2022 World Deaf Football Championships in Malaysia was considered, but last month it was announced that it would not be possible to carry out the reform in such a short time. DIFA is considering club championship reform starting in 2024. The number of participants will be increased to 12 and it will be held every four years.

DIFA thanked the leaders and staff of the Malaysian Deaf Sports Federation for hosting the Malaysian Football Championship 2023.
