If India does not come to Pakistan to play CT 2025, it will then become obvious that Pakistan will also not travel to India for T20 WC 2026 and will demand its all matches in Sri Lanka. If that happens, minimum 12 matches (including final and both Semi finals) will be played in Sri Lanka. All the knock out matches of T20 WC 2026 will be hosted out of India in Sri Lanka if above is the case.
Now Indians will say "We claim this every time" no we don't. We only apply our actions. We have nothing to lose rn in our cricket. We don't care if ICC bans us. But we will hold our stance of not going to India for T20 WC 2026. We also don't care if we are dropped from the tournament. We will enjoy watching our domestic cricket. It's okay for us.
What will be the consequences of this act if Pakistan team does not participate in t20 WC 2026:
• No Ind vs Pakistan game
• Sponsors will not show their interest
• Cheap broadcasters
• Advertising agencies will also not pay that much money to ICC due to less sponsors
• ICC revenue will eventually drop
In both cases, ICC will be in loss. If Ind pulls out of CT 2025, ICC will be in loss. If Pakistan pulls out of T20 WC 2026, ICC will be in loss.
So it is now a big responsibility on ICC to convince BCCI to send its team to Pakistan. Or else both ICC and BCCI will face its consequence in t20 WC 2026.
