Congratulations Team Pakistan
Pakistan's five-member team showcased outstanding performances in their respective events at the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Abu Dhabi from May 3rd to 8th, 2024, securing one gold and two bronze medals.
Muhammad Yusuf Ali and Umar Yasin clinched the gold medal for Pakistan in the U-18 Duo Classic event by defeating Kazakhstan in the final. Additionally, Isra Waseen and Kainat Arif earned two bronze medals for Pakistan in the senior women's category of Duo Show and Duo Classic.
Chairman of the Pakistan Ju Jitsu Federation, Khalil Ahmad Khan, extended his congratulations to the team for their success, highlighting Pakistan's achievement as the Asian champion in the U-18 category for the first time. He emphasized the remarkable talent demonstrated by Pakistani youth.
Khan further expressed appreciation for all team members and the federation, attributing their success to the benefits derived from the National Training Camp organized by the Pakistan Sports Board. The Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board also commended the young players of the Pakistani team for their exceptional performance and gold medal win.
