After almost two years, I finally stepped back onto the football field with my boys in Islamabad — and that feeling was priceless.
Life kept everyone busy: new routines, new responsibilities. But the moment we gathered on the pitch, it felt like time had never moved. Same energy, same jokes, same brotherhood.
One thing, however, was different — the absence of our brothers: Arab Iftikhar, Wasif, Wakeel Khan, Ghazanfar, Habib, Shahan, Mehmood, Mizfar, Rizwan, Sheri, Noman, Goraya, Yasir, and Ehsan.
The field didn’t feel complete without them. Their presence, their humour, their game — everything was truly missed.
Playing again reminded me that football isn’t just a sport for us. It’s memories, connection, and a bond that distance or time can’t break.
Grateful for this reunion and looking forward to the day when the whole squad is together again.
Until then… MUPS FC forever! ❤️⚽
