🇵🇰 Independence Day Sports Week 2026 – District Rawalpindi

As part of the Independence Day Sports Week 2026, a vibrant Boys & Girls Badminton Event was successfully organized by the District Sports Office Rawalpindi on 14th August at Shahbaz Sports Complex.

The event was graced by Additional Assistant Commissioner City Rawalpindi, FLT Lt. (Retd.) Faizan Ahmad, who distributed medals, trophies and certificates among the outstanding players.

Players from across the district participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talent and sporting spirit.

79th Independence Day Sports Week 2026 – District Rawalpindi 🇵🇰

Under the Supervision of District Administration Rawalpindi
Organized by District Sports Department Rawalpindi

As part of the 79th Independence Day Sports Week 2026, two exciting sporting events were held today, 12th August 2026, at Shahbaz Sports Complex, Rawalpindi.

The events included an Inter-Tehsil Hockey Championship and a Kung Fu Competition, in which young athletes participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their talent and sporting spirit.

The events were attended by the Chief Guest, Flt Lt (Retd) Faizan Ahmad Additional Assistant Commissioner (City) Rawalpindi , who appreciated the efforts of the players and organizers. At the conclusion of the competitions, the Chief Guest distributed prizes and awards among the successful players.

🇵🇰 79th Independence Day Sports Week – Opening Ceremony 🇵🇰

The Opening Ceremony of the 79th Independence Day Sports Week was held today in Tehsil Kallar Syedan, under the supervision of the District Administration and organized by the District Sports Department Rawalpindi at Parvaiz Shotokan Karate Club.

More than 150 young athletes participated in the Karate event with great enthusiasm. Medals and certificates were distributed among the successful players.

Raja Sagheer Ahmed, MPA PP-7, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with CO MC Kallar Syedan.He encouraged the young athletes to work hard and make Pakistan proud through their talent and achievements.
