The journey of NOKOT ZALMI in the BABA-E-KARNAH cricket tournament has been truly remarkable. Alhamdulillah, our team reached the final, showcasing outstanding cricket throughout the entire tournament. We appreciate the dedication and effort of every member of the NOKOT ZALMI team.

The sportsmanship, spirit, and discipline displayed by our team were exceptional, reflecting our commitment to excellence. As a cohesive unit, we performed exceptionally well, winning five out of six pool matches and progressing to the semifinals.

In the semifinal, we faced the formidable LIPA VALLEY (KARNAH QALANDARS), a team known for their talent and balance. It was in this crucial match that our most experienced player, JALIL TABASAM, delivered an outstanding performance, hitting four consecutive sixes in the last over, securing our spot in the final.

Unfortunately, luck was not on our side in the final match against RISING KASHMIR KHEWARA, and our dream of victory remained unfulfilled. Despite this setback, the tournament provided us with invaluable lessons in cricket, teamwork, and resilience.

This tournament marked a significant milestone for NOKOT ZALMI, as it had been twenty years since any team from NOKOT valley had reached the final. The experience was a source of pride and honor for us and for the entire NOKOT VALLEY community.

We learned how to handle pressure and nurture team spirit, and we also forged new friendships, built strong relationships, and created lasting memories. Although we didn't clinch the title this season, we remain optimistic and look forward to the next season with determination, aiming to achieve success and relish the thrill of winning once again.
