کچھ شخصیات وقت گزرنے کے باوجود دلوں سے کبھی جدا نہیں ہوتیں۔ مرحوم رجب سموں بھی ایسی ہی ایک خوبصورت شخصیت تھے، جن کی کرکٹ سے محبت، اخلاص اور اپنے لوگوں سے وابستگی ہمیشہ یاد رکھی جائے گی۔

ہمیں یہ اعلان کرتے ہوئے فخر محسوس ہو رہا ہے کہ Samma Super League Season 4 کو مرحوم رجب سموں کی محبت بھری یاد سے منسوب کیا گیا ہے۔ یہ سیزن ان کے نام پر منعقد کیا جا رہا ہے تاکہ ان کی یاد ہمیشہ زندہ رہے اور آنے والی نسلیں بھی انہیں عزت و احترام سے یاد رکھیں۔

کچھ لوگ دنیا سے رخصت ہو جاتے ہیں، مگر اپنی محبت، کردار اور خوبصورت یادوں کی وجہ سے ہمیشہ دلوں میں زندہ رہتے ہیں۔

مرحوم رجب سموں بھی ایسی ہی ایک بااخلاق، خوش مزاج اور کرکٹ سے بے حد محبت رکھنے والی شخصیت تھے۔ اگرچہ وہ آج ہمارے درمیان موجود نہیں، لیکن ان کی یادیں ہمیشہ ہمارے دلوں میں زندہ رہیں گی۔

اسی محبت، احترام اور خراجِ عقیدت کے طور پر سَمّا سپر لیگ سیزن 4 مرحوم رجب سموں کی یاد اور ان کے نام سے منعقد کی جا رہی ہے۔ یہ ٹورنامنٹ صرف کرکٹ کا مقابلہ نہیں بلکہ ہمارے پیارے بھائی کی یاد کو زندہ رکھنے کی ایک عاجزانہ کوشش ہے۔
