2nd INNINGS β
SMC BATTING
π’ After 5 overs: SMC 53/1 SMC got off to an even faster start than BS GREEN. They reached 53/1 after five overs, despite losing Jamshaid at 4.3. Jamshaid had smashed 31 from 17, while SulaimanJavaid was contributing before eventually being dismissed later.
π’ After 10 overs: SMC 88/3 This was SMC's first significant slowdown. They added only 35 runs between overs 5 and 10, while losing Saghir and SulaimanJavaid so BS GREEN had begun to pull the game back.
π’ After 15 overs: SMC 153/3 Nawaz then completely changed the chase and thats exactly what should happen when a fielding side drops 4 chances. Between overs 10 and 15, SMC scored 65 runs without losing another wicket. Nawaz accelerated from 11 off 10 at the end of over 10 to 51 off 27 by the end of over 15. The 15th over alone produced 23 runs.
π’ Final phase: SMC 204/7 in 19.3 overs SMC needed 51 runs from the final five overs, and they eventually got them β but not without drama. Nawaz continued attacking and reached 74, while wickets began falling: Sajid Ali β 163/4 Azeem Malik β 189/5 Waleed β 190/6 Nawaz β 194/7 Despite those wickets, SMC still had enough momentum to cross the line at 204/7 in 19.3 overs.
AS GOOD A MATCH AS WE COULD GET FOR A QUALIFIER.
