Karachi United is seeking a high-potential and professional individual to join our team as a Marketing & Communications Executive for the KU Academy. This pivotal role is designed for individuals passionate about the development sector and strategic resource mobilization within Pakistan's growing sports industry.
About the Academy:
In 2024, KU began their Academy based off the model of clubs across Europe. Offering a specialized program for the best talent of Karachi coming through our Community Centres, Youth Program & various competitions, the 8-year comprehensive development plan including training, education & nutrition of young athletes.
Each year, the Academy aims to increase their footprint and recruit Pakistan's under-utilized talent, developing a pipeline that will lead to international-standard football, and put our country on the map.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Marketing & Comms. Executive to play a key role in growing KU Academy. This is an opportunity to sit at the heart of the academy, ensuring resources are mobilized so players and staff can focus on performance and athlete development. Working across marketing, business development and football, you’ll help the Academy grow sustainable and impactful income streams– improving existing areas of work, and building new income streams which have the ability to fuel organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
● Donor Engagement: Manage the full lifecycle of donor onboarding and maintain engagement through impactful storytelling.
● Strategic Writing: Draft professional proposals, concept notes, grant applications, and technical fundraising reports.
● Partnerships & Events: Support collaborations with major organizations and assist in executing local and international fundraising events.
● Marketing Collaboration: Aid in the ex*****on of digital marketing strategies across social media and email platforms.
Requirements:
● Location: Karachi
● Experience: 0–1 Years (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
● Compensation: PKR 100,000 to 120,000 (based on level of experience)
● Education: Preference for Bachelor’s degree in BBA, Marketing, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or Mass Communication. However, all degree backgrounds are welcome to apply.
● Skills: Self-driven, ability to communicate well, strong writing skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and Canva.
