**Karachi, September 5, 2026:** The **1st Bain ul Madaris Archery Championship 2026**, powered by the **Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh**, was successfully concluded on **5th September 2026** at **QAA Archery – Center of Excellence, Karachi**.
The initiative was organized by **QAA Archery** with the objective of introducing and promoting the sport of archery among students of Islamic seminaries (Madaris) across Karachi, while creating opportunities for young talent from these institutions to participate in organized sports.
As part of the initiative, **QAA Archery – Center of Excellence** conducted a dedicated archery training camp from **14th to 29th August 2026**. Students from **10 Islamic seminaries** participated in the training program, receiving structured instruction, practical exposure, and professional guidance in the sport of archery.
The training camp served as the foundation for the championship, enabling participating students to learn the fundamentals of archery, develop their skills, and prepare for competitive participation. The program also provided an important platform for identifying **new and promising archery talent** from Islamic seminaries, many of whom had limited or no previous exposure to organized archery.
Following the completion of the training phase, the students participated in the **1st Bain ul Madaris Archery Championship 2026** on **5th September 2026**. The championship featured **Under-18 and Under-25 Boys' Barebow categories at 10 metres**, comprising individual and team events.
The event brought together students, representatives of Islamic seminaries, government sports officials, religious scholars, and distinguished guests, creating a unique platform connecting religious educational institutions with organized sports development.
