How do I keep my team motivated?

My answer to this is simple: motivation is important, but it is not the foundation of a great team.

I'll say very loudly that motivation is overrated, stop hiding behind motivation.

The issue is not motivation, it is drainage of motivation!

Some say it’s because of companies while others say it’s because of bad managers. I actually think people walk away from the version of themselves they have become.

It’s a difficult thought to digest but one worth thinking about.

Your best employees are silent quitting and you haven't realized it yet.

The biggest warning signs aren't conflicts, complaints, or resignations. It's silence. The people who once shared ideas have become suddenly quiet. They stop contributing and slowly disconnect.

Not because they don't care, but because they're exhausted.

As leaders, pay attention to the silence in your teams. Sometimes, it's the first sign that your best people have already checked out.

We stay in the wrong jobs, wrong partnerships, and wrong businessess not because they’re working, but because we’re worried about what people will say. That’s not consistency. That’s ego management.

Know what deserves all of you. Let go of everything that doesn’t.

You have an option. Fathers don’t.

Fathers choose stress instead of quitting because they know that if they do, their entire family may suffer.
