In batting, head position is one of the small details that can change everything.
A batsman can have good strength, good bat speed, and good intent, but if the head is moving too much, timing and control can suffer.
A stable head helps the eyes track the ball more clearly. It also helps the body stay balanced as the bat moves into contact.
This does not mean the batsman should become rigid or frozen. Cricket is a dynamic sport, and movement is necessary.
But the movement should be controlled.
The eyes should stay level.
The head should stay over the ball.
The base should stay balanced.
The body should move in a way that supports clean contact.
Better head control often leads to better timing, better balance, and more consistent batting.
Move the bat. Keep the head stable.
