*HEC Grade-1 Cricket Tournament Trials Successfully Completed at CUI Islamabad*

The selection trials for the Higher Education Commission (HEC)/PUSB cricket team, in preparation for the prestigious PCB Grade-1 President One Day Cup, were successfully conducted at *COMSATS University Islamabad.* Held on the 24th and 25th of September 2024, the trials were supervised by an esteemed selection committee, including Shabbir Ahmed, Ex-Test Cricketer Fast Bowler, and Sabih Azhar, Level 4 Coach. *The University of Peshawar* is managing the HEC cricket team for the tournament, under the leadership of *Mr. Bahra Karam, Director of Sports* the University of Peshawar.

The trials were further overseen by Mr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Manager Sports at CUI, who has been appointed as the convener of the HEC cricket team.

CUI Islamabad is proud to host the final training camp for the selected players from 24th September to 2nd October 2024 at its Cricket Ground, leading up to the main event on 3rd October 2024 in Islamabad.

We congratulate all the players who participated and wish the selected athletes the best of luck in the upcoming tournament!
