ELECTRIFYING CLASH AT THE GOJAL CRICKET LEAGUE!

Day 1 of the GCL Winter Edition KHI 2025-26 lived up to the hype as Baba Ghundi Chipurson took on Khunjrav Leopards in a high-stakes second match.

After winning the toss, the Khunjrav Leopards elected to bat with confidence. They started strong, and despite a mid-innings stumble where the flow was broken by quick wickets, they posted a competitive 145/9. The standout performer for the Leopards was Zahid Aziz, who played a brilliant knock of 50 (44) to keep his team in the hunt.

Baba Ghundi Chipurson showed nerves of steel during the chase. Opener Salman Ali anchored the innings with a clinical “Nifty Fifty,” scoring 51 off 48 balls. To seal the deal, Bu Ali Ceena provided the explosive finish, ensuring Baba Ghundi reached the target in 18.4 overs.

لاہور: کالا شاہ کاکو میں منعقدہ نیشنل فائٹنگ چیمپئن شپ میں گلگت بلتستان کے کھلاڑیوں نے شاندار کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے اہم اعزازات اپنے نام کر لیے۔
ایتھلیٹس کے کوچ علیم صابر کے مطابق گلگت کے شایان مہدی نے 52 کلوگرام کیٹیگری میں بہترین کارکردگی دکھاتے ہوئے پاکستانی چیمپئن ہونے کا اعزاز حاصل کیا۔
شایان اس سے قبل دو مرتبہ قومی سطح پر سلور میڈل جیت چکے ہیں، تاہم اس بار انہوں نے شاندار پرفارمنس دکھاتے ہوئے پہلی مرتبہ گولڈ میڈل اپنے نام کیا۔
