First Ever Boot Camp of WWF in Pakistan
Cadets from CCH participated to complete their Duke of Edinburgh International Award Activity. For the said purpose, 19 cadets and their Award Leader, Mr Mozam Ali Saqib with the team of WWF went to the Boot Camp at Shogran.
Multiple Interactive sessions and activities were supervised by the experts from WWF on:
i- Camping (the cadets set up a camp village of 11 tents)
ii- Hiking to the famous Makra peak over 3800 meter
iii-Use of binoculars
iv-GPS Navigation through devices provided by WWF
v- Ecological zones of Pakistan
vi- Strategy and steps for Wildlife-sighting
vii- Leadership and Team-building
viii- Career counselling for wildlife protection and research
Besides participating in the above activities, the participants were awarded with five badges each after successful completion of the activities. WWF Head office would soon issue the certificates to the participants for their accomplished venture.
