The ZAMBASULTA Regional Football Association has called on local football league and tournament organizers to closely coordinate with the regional association in staging competitions, emphasizing the importance of proper planning, technical knowledge, and compliance with standards set by the Philippine Football Federation.
According to the regional football body, several independently organized tournaments in the past encountered major difficulties due to the lack of technical guidance and organizational structure. Some organizers reportedly struggled to comply with minimum tournament requirements, resulting in issues involving player eligibility, officiating, scheduling, safety protocols, and match operations.
ZAMBASULTA RFA stressed that its doors remain open to assist organizers through consultation, technical support, and coordination to ensure that competitions are conducted professionally and in accordance with established football standards.
The RFA added that proper coordination with the regional body would help organizers avoid common operational mistakes and ensure that tournaments provide a safe, fair, and organized environment for players, coaches, referees, and spectators.
The association also encouraged schools, clubs, communities, and private organizers to collaborate with the RFA in future competitions to elevate the overall quality and credibility of football events across the ZAMBASULTA region.
