Nueva Vizcaya — For the second consecutive time, our young gun has made it to the podium! 🥈🥉
LJ Murillo, born into a humble Murillo family in Barangay Aggub, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, and now residing in Tuao South, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, continues to inspire us all.
Raised by his loving and supportive mother, Mylene Gaerlan Murillo, a widowed mother of two, LJ has proven that determination, discipline, and faith can turn dreams into reality.
Known among cycling enthusiasts simply as “LJ,” he carries a powerful story — one rooted in humble beginnings, relentless drive, and the unwavering support of his mother, who continues to guide him toward his dreams.
Following his impressive duplicate medal haul at Batang Pinoy 2025, his national stint further proved his consistency and potential. With the guidance and belief of coaches Ben, Ronnie, Noel, and B**g, talents like LJ continue to shine and inspire others.
At the 2026 Philippine National Cycling Championship, LJ proudly secured:
🥈 Silver Medal – Individual Time Trial (ITT)
🥉 Bronze Medal – Criterium Race
This young dreamer aspires to become part of a professional cycling team here in the Philippines — or even abroad. With his passion, perseverance, and strong support system, that dream is well within reach.
