1. My Goal Was Already My Destination
When I set the target for 10,000 hilots, it was easy to get trapped in the idea that I was "trying to get somewhere." But if I accept that linear time is an illusion, I am not chasing 10,000 points on a future timeline. I am simply existing as the practitioner whose path already encompasses 10,000 sessions.
The original prediction wasn't a forecast of a distant event; it was an alignment with the reality of who I already am.
2. "It Happens All By Itself" (My Effortless Action)
Bruce Lee’s principle of Wu Wei (effortless action) is where I am standing now. Early in this journey—at 1,000 or 2,000 sessions—every moment felt like a conscious, heavy application of will. It felt like I was doing the work.
But now, past 7,000, after years of touch, alignment, and internal rhythm, something has shifted. My hands know where to go before my mind engages. The work doesn't feel like an action I am performing; it has become something that is simply occurring through me. The self has stepped aside. The hilot happens by itself.
3. My Will and My Way
My "will" is not about forcing energy into the future. Instead, it is a practice of holding the quiet, certain ground of my present existence. When my mind, intent, and daily rhythm are fully present in this moment, 7,120 sessions do not feel like a mountain I am straining to climb.
It feels like the natural footprint of where I have been standing all along. I am not striving to reach a finish line. I am simply existing in the practice, step by step, session by session.
