🇵🇭 Three Filipinas set for Santi Cup in Hong Kong

Cebu’s Tashi Balangauan, South Cotabato’s Brittany Tamayo, and Cavite’s Mona Sarines will represent the Philippines in the Santi Cup of the Southeast Asian Golf Team Championships in Hong Kong.

The regional team championship is scheduled for September 14-18, with the three young Filipinas set to fly the Philippine flag against Southeast Asia’s top junior golfers. 🇵🇭⛳

For our team format, the higher handicap (HCP) is multiplied by 30%, while the lower HCP is multiplied by 70%.

Formula:
Team HCP = (Higher HCP × 30%) + (Lower HCP × 70%)

📌 Example:
Player A – HCP 20
Player B – HCP 10

Higher HCP:
20 × 30% = 6

Lower HCP:
10 × 70% = 7

Team HCP = 6 + 7 = 13

👉 Therefore, the Team HCP is 13.
