ALINGO TUBO’S JOURNEY
DAD’S SPORTFEST: OUR FIRST EVER MAJOR TOURNAMENT
A fresh and new team decided their luck to be part of this major tournament. First game was against Municipality of Daguioman where they showed tenacity and domination as they beat them in straight sets. Their second opponent was Municipality of La Paz where they suffered their first loss of the tournament in very close fashion. After that devastating loss against Municipality of La Paz, they redeemed their selves and able to beat Municipality of Bucloc in three sets. Their Last game during the elimination round was against Municipality of Sallapadan where they have shown their passion, the love from the arts, and their determination to secured their spot in the quarterfinals, and we DID! Beating and eliminating the undefeated Municipality of Sallapadan is such a great achievement.
Going into the QuarterFinals is such a roller- coaster journey for the team. They need to beat the Mighty Municipality of Bangued to advance in the Semi- Final Round. But they failed to do it. It is a great game for the team. And so PROUD!
Donning the Municipality of Tubo ‘s Jersey is such an honor and a responsibility as we are not only representing ourselves but we are representing the whole Tuboninans out there. We gave our deepest and heartfelt gratefulness and gratitude to our Municipal Mayor Liberty Ballangan La-os and our Acting Municipal Mayor Guilbert P. Ballangan for the trust you have given to the team. With no doubt you, let us shown the Tubonians skills in volleyball in bigger arena. You have supported us all the way from the very beginning, a million thanks. We may hope that you will continue support the program to be better and recruit more players of Tubo that has potential to be part of it. Likewise, to the donors of the team who unceasingly provided us support in all aspect; emotional, physical and financial and all Tubonians who sacrificed their time in cheering us and boosting our confidence, THANK YOU, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
A MESSAGE FOR THE TEAM WHO WORKED SO HARD AND SACRFICED SO HARD;
We want to take a moment to remind each and every one of you just how incredible you are. As a team, you have come together with a shared passion for the game, and that alone is something to be proud of. The journey you are embarking on is not an easy one, but it is through the challenges and the setbacks that you will grow and become stronger as individuals and as a unit.
Volleyball is a sport that requires teamwork, dedication, and constant communication. It is a beautiful dance of coordination and trust, where every player has a crucial role to play. Remember that each one of you brings something unique to the team, and it is when you combine those individual strengths that you become truly unstoppable.
There will be moments when the game feels tough, when it seems like the odds are against you. But in those moments, I want you to dig deep and find the fire within you. Remind yourselves of why you started playing this sport in the first place. The love for the game, the joy of competition, the camaraderie among teammates—let those emotions fuel your determination to push through any obstacles that come your way.
Success is not solely defined by the number of victories you achieve, but by the effort you put in, the growth you experience, and the bonds you form along the way. Cherish every practice, every game, and every opportunity to step onto the court together. Embrace the challenges as opportunities for improvement, and never shy away from pushing your limits.
Support one another, both on and off the court. Lift each other up, celebrate one another's successes, and provide a shoulder to lean on during the tough times. Remember that you are a team, and together you can achieve greatness.
Believe in yourselves, trust in your abilities, and always strive to be the best version of yourselves. Let your passion for volleyball shine through in every move you make and every decision you take. Embrace the power of unity, for when you work together, you can accomplish anything.
I have no doubt that you have the potential to reach extraordinary heights. So go out there, give it your all, and leave your hearts on the court. Make every moment count, and let your passion and dedication inspire those around you.
