DLS-Cebu is back in action at the 3rd Challenge Cup! 🟢⚪️

​Huge congratulations to our U13 boys for a hard-fought performance! They kicked off the tournament with a fantastic win against Don Bosco, showing exactly what they're capable of.
​While we fell just short in the final two games with narrow 1-0 finishes, the scoreline doesn't tell the whole story. We saw incredible eagerness, skillful effort, and a team that refused to back down until the final whistle.

​We are so proud of your growth and the passion you bring to the game. Keep training hard and keep that fire burning!

The Future of DLS FC is Shining Bright! ⚽️✨

1st day of the 3rd Challenge Cup! ​What a weekend of pure heart and teamwork! Our DLS-Cebu Football Club showed exactly what it means to "come back," fueled by a powerful collaboration with our sister club players from USJR and Balamban.

​The results speak for themselves:

​U9: Dominated the elimination round at the top of the group! Though the QF penalty shootout against Don Bosco didn't go our way, the skill on display was top-tier.

​U11: Simply unbelievable. These kids played with a level of composure and hunger that left everyone in awe. A truly legendary standing!

​U15: A battle to the very end. Reaching the Semis and falling by just 1 point in the final seconds against Sugbu Calidad—it was a performance to be proud of.

​Wins are great, but seeing the development and the hunger in these kids is the real victory. We believe in this team. Great job, kids! The future is ours! 🏆

Big thanks also to our dear field coaches and the best coaches at home...the parents! Salute!

What they do get…

Is rain on a Tuesday night.

Early Saturday/Sunday alarms.

Mud on their boots.

And responsibility for other people’s children.

They give up evenings with their own families
to help yours.

They finish work…
and start coaching.

They miss meals.

They sacrifice weekends.

They will spend their own money on equipment.

They plan sessions late at night
when nobody’s watching.

They don’t do it for money.

They don’t do it for praise.

They do it because a child smiling,
improving,
growing in confidence…

is worth more than any pay cheque.

Volunteer coaches are the real heartbeat of football.

Without them — there is no game. ❤️⚽️
