A one-day friendly tennis meet was successfully held as members of PLTA visited CCLTC for a day filled with exciting matches, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
The games started earlier than scheduled, with players eager and ready to showcase their skills on the court. From the very first match between ladies/mommies, the energy was high and the competition friendly yet intense. After the first three matches, everyone gathered for a simple lunch. Players from both clubs shared a meal together, exchanging stories, laughter, and experiences — a perfect pause before heading back to the courts.
The afternoon continued with more action-packed games. Cheers and loud applause echoed around the court whenever a thrilling rally or impressive shot took place. The audience (members from both PLTA & CCLTC ) were fully engaged, showing their support and admiration for the players. Each athlete displayed strong focus, determination, and passion, delivering their best strokes and strategic shots throughout the day.
By the end of the event, a total of 14 matches had been completed — a testament to the enthusiasm and commitment of everyone involved. As evening came, dinner was served, allowing participants to relax and reflect on the day’s highlights.
Overall, it was truly an amazing day. More than just a series of matches, the event became a celebration of unity through sport. Acquaintances were formed, friendships were strengthened, and bonds were built between players from two different tennis clubs. Despite having different personalities and backgrounds, everyone shared the same passion — tennis. 🎾
