There are stories behind every brand, but behind mine, there are women.

Not just a team.
Not just creatives behind layouts, campaigns, and strategies.
They are my partners... steady, strong, and present in ways that go beyond business.

When I look at what we’ve built in Coach Nile International, I don’t just see systems or results. I see conversations that turned into breakthroughs, late nights filled with ideas that didn’t always make sense, but somehow led us to clarity. I hear laughter echoing in the middle of pressure, and yes, even moments of tension, of tiredness, of creative blocks. From creative juices to creative junks, we’ve seen it all.

And still, they stayed.

I often pause and think, how mindful is God to plan this ahead for me. To surround me with women who would walk with me not just in building a brand, but in building a life.

I lost my mother at an early age. That kind of loss leaves a space no one can replace.

But in His own way, God filled my journey with women, each one carrying strength, grace, fire, and faith. Not to replace what was lost, but to remind me that I am never walking alone.

They have seen me at my best, and they have seen me when I’m not.
Through wins and waiting seasons. Through clarity and confusion. Through bold visions and quiet doubts.

And still, they chose to build with me.

So today, I honor you.
For your brilliance, your patience, your resilience, and your heart.
For showing up, not just for the brand, but for the mission of our agency, and for each other.

Something new is brewing in Pavia, and it carries the same creative pulse that many of us in Iloilo have grown to love.

The Hood by CUPS & CAPS is now open at the ground floor of GT Mall Pavia, bringing the familiar Cups and Caps energy closer to the Ilonggo community in this growing side of the city.

For those who have been part of the Iloilo creative scene, Cups and Caps has always been more than just a coffee place. It has become a space where ideas are exchanged, collaborations are born, and conversations flow as freely as the coffee. It’s the kind of place where creatives, entrepreneurs, and dreamers casually gather without pressure—just good drinks, good people, and good energy.

Now with The Hood, that same spirit expands.

Walking into the space, you immediately feel the relaxed and welcoming vibe that Cups and Caps is known for. It’s simple, approachable, and inviting—exactly the kind of environment where you can sit down with friends, meet fellow creatives, or even open your laptop and work on your next big idea.

As someone who spends much of the week working with brands, businesses, and creative teams, I’ve always appreciated places like this. Spaces that naturally attract people who are building something, creating something, or dreaming of something bigger.

PAUSE TO REST.

Taking a meaningful break in the middle of a hectic week serving brand clients is something I try to intentionally do. After days of strategy calls, brand analysis, and campaign planning, I found a quiet pause at Palpitate Coffee Iloilo, located at the ground floor of Robinsons Place Iloilo near the grocery. The place immediately felt warm and homey, with soft lighting, wooden textures, and a simple modern interior that makes you want to slow down and just breathe for a moment.

I started with their Palpitate Signature Coffee. It’s creamy and smooth, with a light milky foam on top and a dusting of cocoa powder that gives a subtle dark chocolate twist. It’s the kind of coffee that feels comforting rather than too strong.

For food, I had the Pasta Bolognese. The spaghetti was coated with a savory meat sauce that had bits of ground beef and small vegetables mixed in. It’s simple, hearty, and satisfying, something you’d gladly eat when you want a proper meal with your coffee.

The Grilled Cheese Sandwich came toasted with crisp grill marks on soft bread, and when you pull it apart, the melted cheese stretches nicely. It’s straightforward comfort food that pairs well with warm drinks.

Then came the highlight dessert, the cromboloni topped with matcha glaze. The pastry had beautiful flaky layers, with thick green matcha sauce dripping down the sides, sprinkled with crushed nuts and finished with gold flakes. It’s rich, slightly earthy from the matcha, and balanced with a hint of sweetness.

Sometimes a good cup of coffee, comforting food, and a calm space is all you need to recharge before returning to the work of building brands again.
