Look after yourselves as the Tibiao River rises. It's not the first time, despite opinions of relative newcomers who say the river is at an historic level. It is the first time there's been building and activity so close to the river, so damage could be unprecedented, but equally could be seen to be self-inflicted by those pushing the environmental envelope for short term gain. You can be assured we will never ask for donations, nor will we take brazen environmental shortcuts. Remember that when you are crass enough to choose to dine physically on the river with the resulting pollution of the Tibiao River. And certainly when we launched crowd sourcing for Yolanda, for instance, every peso and dollar donated went to the intended recipients, and there was a level of transparency which ensured that nothing untoward did, or could, occur.
