Today’s game felt different. As we watched and played, we couldn’t help but think of you, Sir Edgar. You were more than just a friend and a teammate—you were someone who shared the same passion, the same moments, the victories, the struggles, that always remind us to be always thinkPAZitive as we have shared those moments with you.

It hurts knowing that you are no longer here to cheer with us, play with us, or share another game. But every game we play from now on will carry a little piece of your memory with us.

This event is more than just a game—it is a gathering of friends, family, and the basketball community to honor John Edgar’s life, celebrate his passion for the sport, and extend support to his loved ones during this difficult time.

Today, our heart is filled with sadness as I try to find the words to say goodbye to our dear friend, John Edgar Paz. It still doesn't feel real that you're gone.

We shared countless memories, laughter, stories, and moments that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. As a member of the OTITS Basketball Club, you were more than just a teammate, you were family. You brought so much energy, passion, and joy wherever you went. Whether we were playing basketball, celebrating victories, or simply spending time together, your presence always made everything better.

The court will never be the same without you. Every game, every shot, every cheer from the sidelines will remind us of the person you were and the impact you made on all of us. But beyond basketball, what we’ll miss the most is your friendship, your kindness, and the way you always knew how to make people smile even during difficult times. You had a way of lifting others up without asking for anything in return, and that is a gift not many people have.

It's hard to accept that someone so full of life could leave us so soon. The pain of losing you is something words cannot fully express. We were not ready to say goodbye, and part of me feels like we never truly will. Your memory will live on in every story we tell, every game we play, and in the hearts of everyone whose life you touched.

Rest peacefully, our brother. Thank you for the friendship, the memories, and the moments that made life brighter.
