If the attached photo of a winning receipt generated from a betting machine inside the cockpit arena is a legitimate hard copy, the tax portion says VAT - Value Added Tax??

Why levy a VAT on ‘winnings’ from a wager in a cockfight? VAT is a consumption tax imposed on goods and services along the supply chain (manufacturing)

Mali yata yung description ng tax na binawas sa sabong vet.

Bureau of Internal Revenue Philippines kindly clarify the our question on the matter

The family and the RCA Gamefarm are saddened to announce the passing of Rafael “Paeng” C. Araneta. More than a chicken man known for his Lemon 84, Paeng was a good person. He was a caring brother, a doting uncle, and a loving lolo to his grand nieces and grand nephews.
