🏀 Season Finale: A Tale of Challenges and Triumphs 🏆

In the world of sports, unforeseen events can sometimes test our mettle in unexpected ways. It is with a heavy heart that we share an unfortunate incident that unfolded during a crucial game, leading to a series of difficult decisions by the league committee.

During the late 3rd quarter of the game, an unexpected disruption occurred as a spectator entered the court, causing a disturbance that ignited a commotion among the players from both sides. In the wake of this incident, the committee promptly intervened to restore order and ensure the safety of all present.

Amidst the tense aftermath, a decision was reached to halt and conclude the game through a 10-point free throw shootout involving the best shooters from each team. This unique resolution was aimed at preventing further escalation and fostering a safe environment for everyone involved. Both teams graciously agreed, demonstrating the true essence of the game.

Balot's De Jesus, a vital sharpshooter, represented his team, while Coolers Delight chose Miñoza, DJ, a playmaker known for his clutch shooting ability. With the coin toss determining the shooting order, Miñoza set the stage by delivering 7 out of 10 shots. De Jesus took his turn, but his shots fell short, tallying 5 out of 10.

With this outcome, Coolers Delight clinched the title of the 1st Season Champion for the Under 18 category, while Balot gracefully accepted the position of 1st Runner-Up. A special honor was bestowed upon Miñoza, DJ, as he was named the Finals MVP for his instrumental role in Coolers Delight's journey to success this season.

As we bid farewell to this season, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who made this league possible. Our appreciation goes out to the ISHAI Association and Chapel Official for their support, as well as Councilor Val Yonto of Barangay Mohon for providing the lights that illuminated the court, Gonzaga Family for the Sound System, Councilor Gilbert Onga Briones of Barangay Mohon for officiating, Team Jhon Rodney for the Official Ball, John Ellie Go for the trophy and the dedicated youths who lent their helping hands.

A resounding thank you to all participating teams for your dedication and passion. Here's to the spirit of unity, resilience, and the promise of another exciting season ahead. Until then, we remain grateful for the journey we shared! 🏀🙏

🏀 Season Conclusion: Strong Basketball Claims 2nd Runner-Up Spot 🏆

What an incredible journey it has been! 🏀🔥 In a thrilling showdown that had us all on the edge of our seats, Strong Basketball exhibited true sportsmanship against a formidable opponent, Balot. As the final buzzer sounded, the score stood at 76-61, with Balot emerging as the victors.

Balot seized control right from the start, commanding the early quarters and finishing the 1st half with a dominating 45-21 lead against Strong Basketball. 🚀💥 In a valiant effort, Strong attempted a comeback in the 2nd half, with Loberanes launching electrifying three-pointers that chipped away at the deficit, bringing the gap down to just 10 points.

However, it was Fajardo of Balot who took center stage, displaying exceptional skill and determination, and pushing the lead back to a 15-point gap. Aton of Balot delivered an awe-inspiring double-double performance, amassing 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists – a true force to be reckoned with. On the Strong Basketball side, Petolan led the team with 13 points in their unwavering effort.
