About the Head Consultant
Michael Aquino is an experienced educator and entrepreneur with over two (2) decades of teaching and professional experience. He holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education—English, with a minor in Filipino, from Central Luzon State University, completed a diploma course in business at UP-Diliman, finished the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in Education—English at The National Teachers College, and earned a Master in Learning and Teaching, focusing on learner-centered education, from De La Salle University. Michael has taught in public and private institutions, including high schools, colleges, and language schools, both in-person and online. He has worked with expats and second-language learners from varied countries. Michael continues to conduct corporate trainings for both private and public organizations and teaches students, teachers, employees, and managers, as well as actors, beauty queens, and CEOs. His expertise spans education, communication, and personal development.

Break Through Language Barriers with Mag-Filipino Tayo!

Having taught Filipino to learners from around 30 nationalities, I've identified the unique challenges they face in mastering the language. To better understand these, I conducted a case study involving Filipino-American, British-Filipino, German, Israeli, and Australian students. Here's what I discovered:

🌀 Limited exposure to the language
🌀 Inconsistent study schedules
🌀 Lack of self-directed learning habits
🌀 Emotional frustrations tied to language difficulty
🌀 Low motivation
🌀 Influence of other languages
🌀 Difficulty connecting personal purpose to learning

To address these, I’ve enhanced Mag-Filipino Tayo! using learner-centered education principles. This approach helps learners overcome barriers and ensures that the program is aligned with their individual needs. Based on each learner's goals, it features:
