Team Phil Badminton Tournament will be held at MZ Racket Zone Badminton Court Tagum City on March 23-24 2024.

All participating players must abide with the leveling system and decisions adopted by the leveling committee
- Individual skills assessment
- Pair skills assessment
- Performance in past tournaments

- Elimination Round Players who are in pairs shall be bracketed.
- Scoring format is 1-31.
- No slide.
- The Top 2 teams of each bracket based on their wins or scores will advance to the qualifying rounds.
- Should there be a tie between two teams, a win over the other will be applied. If not applicable, the pair with the higher losing score will advance to the qualifying round.
- Should there be a triple tie, the points system will be applied by the match control. Such that, the team/s with the higher losing scores will advance to the next round.
Qualifying/Semifinals Round
QUALIFYING (Quarterfinals) ROUND
- Scoring format is 1-31. No slide.
- A draw lots will be conducted to determine the matching of the qualifying rounds until only four (4) remaining pairs are left, who will compete in the semifinals.
SEMIFINALS ROUND
- Scoring format is 1-31. No slide.
- Winning teams advances to the Championship round
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND
- Scoring format is 1-35. Still No slide.

Shuttle c**k of good quality will be used during the entire competition.

Players will only be given 5 minutes from FINAL CALL by the Technical Committee before their match will be considered a walkover.
Players are encouraged to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes from their schedule time. They are encouraged to do their stretching exercises before their actual games to avoid delay in the start of games.
It is the duty of players to check their game schedules prior to the actual games. It is also the duty of the players to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before their schedule time. And in case of confusion, it is their duty to ask for clarifications to the match control.

Players are required to pay the registration fee before the start of the game.

A coach or team official who is coaching the match shall:
- Be dressed appropriately and must remain seated in the designated chairs, provided for at each end of the court, except at the approved intervals
- Not verbally abuse or use foul, offensive and unacceptable language and gestures towards any player, official or member of the table.
- Must not bring the sport into disrepute through media relating to technical officials either pre or post-match that are personal in nature, imply bias, or question the integrity of the technical officials, in charge of the match or tournament.
In the case of flagrant breaches of this Code of Conduct, the Umpire will call the Court Managers/Tournament Director to the court. The Court Managers/Tournament Director will remove the offending coach/team official from the coaching floor and in their discretion, may bar the offending coach/team official/guest from the tournament venue for the remainder of the event or part thereof.
In all cases, fair play and sportsmanship shall prevail between and among players.
Players, guests and supporters must not verbally abuse or use foul, offensive and unacceptable language and gestures towards any player, umpire, linesman, official or member of the table. Must not bring the sport into disrepute through media relating to technical officials either pre or post-match that are personal in nature, imply bias, or question the integrity of the technical officials, in charge of the match or tournament.

The organizing committee and its appointed officials shall not be held liable or responsible for any injuries or mishaps or accidents that may occur during the competition or a result of participation in the tournament.
๐๐. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐/๐๐๐๐๐๐
All approved entries will be posted in the page before the actual game. Should there be any protest or appeal on any accepted entries, the concerned party should inform the leveling and organizing committee immediately in order for the committee to deliberate and decide on the matter.
The decision of the committee, after the deliberation, shall be considered final.
No protest from the players/coaches shall be entertained during the day of the tournament.
In its discretion, the levelling committee may disqualify an entry or player from playing if they are found out during the actual games that they are guilty of sandbagging. The decision of the committee would be final and unappealable. Guilty players/entries will no longer be refunded on their registration fees and will be advised to play at the next higher level.

In all other matters not covered by the preceding rules, the decision of the Organizing Committee shall be final.

Failure to contest these rules before the start of the tournament shall be deemed as acceptance and consent by the players, coaches and guests. Once the games have started, all players, coaches and guests are bound by these rules and guidelines throughout the entire tournament.
