A productive coordination meeting was successfully held on December 3, 2025, between the City of Tagum Volleyball Association (CTVA) and the DepEd Division of Tagum City โ DRRM Unit, strengthening a shared commitment to elevate grassroots volleyball development in the city.
This vital discussion was attended by CTVA President Jerick Duque, CTVA Technical Officer Mayumi Maristella, and our dedicated partners from DepEd Tagum City โ Marjun Tiempo Dawal (Sports & Project Officer II), James Magpusao (Project Officer I), and Vienne Sophia Huynh (Technical Assistant I). This collaboration is proudly aligned with the visionary leadership of Mayor Rey T. Uy, who continues to promote sports as a pillar of youth empowerment, discipline, and community growth. Together, we are now preparing our school-based volleyball athletes for upcoming competitions such as the City Meet and Davao-wide tournaments like DAVRAA and future leagues across the region.
CTVA remains true to its mission โ to connect, develop, promote, and uplift volleyball not only for Tagumeรฑos but also for the wider community. Through strong partnerships and unified direction, we continue to build a sustainable future for rising volleyball stars.
