The courtesy visit to Grand Master Hong Sung Chon, The President and Founder of the Philippine Taekwondo Association, was a distinct honor for our delegation. The team extend it’s deepest gratitude for his unwavering support and inspiring leadership.

During the courtesy meeting, GM Hong emphasized not only the importance of international participation but also the value of cultural exchange between South Korea and the Philippines, highlighted how Taekwondo serves as a bridge that strengthens mutual understanding and respect between our nations.

GM Hong encouraged us to rise to the challenge of representing Philippine Taekwondo in future global competitions, reminding us that many more international tournaments lie ahead. His words motivate the team to prepare diligently, train harder and proudly showcase Filipino excellence on the world stage.

Together with TCTPTC Junior Grand Master Rogelio Valdez and KTA Elite Head Coach John Kevin Vincent Custodio, reaffirm commitment to uphold the spirit of Taekwondo, foster cultural appreciation and inspire others to join in strengthening our nation’s presence in international tournaments. This courtesy visit stands as both a moment of gratitude and a call to action in uniting athletes and supporters in the shared vision of elevating Philippine Taekwondo globally.
