The entire Bohol Ultimate Frisbee community mourns the loss of our beloved brother, Bencel Doven Borja Aparicio. He was cherished by many and became a familiar, irreplaceable presence at every Tarsier Ultimate tournament - one of the pioneering players, a steadfast member of the core organizing committee, and someone who freely offered his time and help, unless food was involved, which he would happily accept.
He took charge of welcoming and caring for the “guests” and VIPs because that was what he did best - making people happy, helping strangers feel at home, and bringing warmth to every gathering. Bencel was never without his signature warm smile and easygoing aura. He was the sweetest, simply put, SUPERCUTE through and through.
As we grieve this heartbreaking loss, we lift Bencel’s soul in prayer and entrust him to God’s eternal embrace. May his family find strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time. Let us continue to surround them with our love, support, and prayers, just as Bencel surrounded all of us with his kindness and warmth. And may the memory of his light continue to guide, inspire, and unite our community.
