BAKIT FREE?
With the continuous rise in the cost of commodities, our goal – without personal agenda - is to provide the frisbee community with a tournament where young athletes are free to focus on the game—not the expenses. They won’t have to skip meals just to save money, sell jerseys or stickers to fund their participation, or ask their parents for support while trying to justify a sport that offers no cash prizes.
Instead, they can compete right in their own hometown, sharing the field with national and veteran athletes, gaining valuable experience, and showcasing their talent. Most importantly, they can do all these without paying a registration fee, as this initiative is fully supported by the local government unit’s allocated budget.
This event would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the Tagbilaran City Local Government Unit, led by the ever-supportive Mayor Jane Yap together with her dedicated and efficient team, Sir Alexis Joseph Cadeliña, our City Tourism Head, Sir Zackie Castro of the Sports Commission, Ma’am Christine, Miss Jhay, Atty. Vincent Raotraot, Ma’am Cathy Torecmocha, and all your staff. Thank you very much for your steadfast support to the Ultimate Frisbee community in Tagbilaran and across Bohol.
Our gratitude to the Provincial Government of Bohol, Sir Gelbong of Provincial Youth Development Office of Bohol, Sir Bam, and PGSO Head Engr. Caliao, along with your team. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the growth of the sport.
To our friends who have become our constant event partners—Tanduay Rhum Bohol Sir Johnree, Sir Rodrigo, Sir Apipi. To Sir Raymond Uy of Pocari Sweat PH and Dok TJ of STRONG MOTO, and to Zoila and Tobias and Jhayr and Rek of VHUB BOHOL for always being with us in all ways, and our friends from Nosh6300, AWSME BRGRS and KapeHuan, you are truly valued and an integral part of this community.
To our fellow players and partners; Dr. Jai of USKA and Notsboi, thank you for giving the Boholano players the opportunity to experience playing alongside exceptional athletes like you. To Daddiii of Tident Active Lifestyle, Val of Agile Gear and Anna of Ourea Outdoor, thank you so much for your support and contribution to the growth of the game.
To the players from Negros, Leyte, Cebu, Ormoc, and Tubigon who traveled and spent their weekend with us, thank you for bringing your energy and passion to the field. To all the teams, especially to the UB Ultimate Flying Lemurs, keep dreaming and keep working hard—your time will come. And to our champions, Grape Ape Ultimate this is your moment. Congratulations! Francis Kim Milar you did an incredible job bringing the Women’s team together—you truly deserve this after all your hard work.
To the people behind this year’s tournament: Matet Fornolles Galarido, the Mohawks and Cheaters family, Doits, Aceyot, Lope, Brett, JP, Alquin, Bidow, Julian, Min2, Dave, EJB, Langgeng Horden, and the rest of the team especially you, Lester Jane thank you for your time, effort, and dedication. You are the reason this event came to life.
And to those who challenged us and made this journey difficult, THANK YOU. You tested our patience and pushed us to our limits, but because of that, we proved how strong, resilient, and united we are.
Above all, we give our highest praise and gratitude to the Almighty Father. All glory and success of this tournament belong to You. We are forever grateful.
Events of this scale do not happen every day, and we are proud to say that this was all for the Ultimate Frisbee community of Tagbilaran and Bohol. For the love of the game - kaya, bakit free.
