The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, through the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), in partnership with Bohol Enduro United (BEU), successfully staged the 1st Sandugo Party on the Rocks Enduro MTB Race on July 19, 2026, in Catarman, Dauis.
Held as part of the Sandugo sa Bohol celebration, the race brought together mountain biking enthusiasts from Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Cebu, Bohol, and Dumaguete City, showcasing Bohol—the first and only UNESCO Global Geopark in the Philippines—as a premier destination for sports tourism and outdoor adventure.
Champions of the inaugural race were Kelly Labucana (Under-19), Alden Comeros (20–29), Raul Tabil (30–39), Wendell Barba (40 and Above), Cydric Gabutin (Hardtail), and Hannah Barba (Women's Category). Congratulations also to all podium finishers and participants for making the event a resounding success.
This initiative supports the PGBh's Strategic Change Agenda by advancing Sustainable Tourism, promoting sports tourism, encouraging healthy and active lifestyles, and showcasing Bohol as a leading destination for world-class outdoor sporting events.
The First Sandugo Party on the Rocks 3-Stage Enduro Race is part of this year’s grander Sandugo sa Bohol celebration, organized under the TIGI Stream. The celebration takes place from June to August 2026 and is held in various venues across the Bohol Island Geopark.
