Before we officially begin another school year, we take a moment to honor and bid farewell to our Senior Arnis athletes—individuals who have proudly carried the name of TACURONG ARNIS FUSION SQUAD with discipline, dedication, and heart.

Your journey with the team may have come to an end, but a new chapter is just beginning. As you step into college and pursue your dreams, always remember that the values you learned through Arnis, courage, resilience, respect, and perseverance, will continue to guide you wherever life takes you.

Talent vs. Sacrifice and Discipline

Lots of athletes are naturally talented (they're "called" by their physical gifts), but not many have the mental toughness, work ethic, and resilience to keep performing at a high level (the "chosen").

The Called: They show up to practice when it's easy, just rely on their raw talent, and love getting praised for being an athlete.

The Chosen: They stay late to get better, push through tough workouts, play through injuries, and stay disciplined with their diet, sleep, and focus even when no one's watching.

"Many are called, but few are chosen." - Matthew 22:14
